High quality poster of the famous Eurocopter EC 135.
The Eurocopter EC 135 is a light, twin-engine multi-purpose helicopter that is mainly used for air rescue and as a police helicopter. It is also used for VIP transports, offshore applications and in the military. The EC 135 was developed with several innovations. Both the rotor blades and a large part of the airframe are made of composite materials and the tail rotor has been replaced by a very quiet Fenestron. More than 1400 units have been delivered since 1996. Half of them are in use in Europe and are probably the most widely used rescue and police helicopters there.
