Elegant and high quality poster of the famous Canadair CL-415 "Super Scooper".
The Canadair CL-415 "Super Scooper" is probably the epitome of a fire fighting aircraft. The amphibious aircraft was developed from the CL-215 and built from 1993 to 2015. The CL-415 received turboprop engines as well as further improvements to the systems and aerodynamics. With filling pipes, the CL-415 can absorb 6,140 L of water over a distance of 410 m within 12 seconds. This allows large amounts of water to be used for extinguishing if there is a suitable body of water in the vicinity of the fire. The aircraft are in use in more than 10 countries around the world, mainly Canada and Europe.
