The Boeing 787 Dreamliner:

The Boeing 787 Dreamliner is an American wide-body jet airliner. Announced by Boeing on January 29, 2003, the aircraft is the first airliner to be made largely of composite materials, resulting in significantly greater efficiency. The 787 took off on its maiden flight in December 2009, but was only able to enter service with ANA after a total delay of 3 years. Despite initial defects in the batteries, the Dreamliner is considered one of the safest airliners. So far, no aircraft has had to be written off and no one has been injured.
