Elegant blueprint poster of the legendary B-17 "Flying Fortress".

The B-17 was a heavy bomber of the US Air Force in World War II . Due to its robustness and the ability to stay in the air after heavy fire, it was named "Flying Fortress". The most produced version was the B-17 G with 8,680 aircraft. A total of 12,731 machines were built, which had a major influence on the course of the war through operations over Europe and the Pacific.
