High quality poster of the legendary Avro Vulcan.
The Avro Vulcan is a British delta jet bomber that was in service from 1956 to 1984. The Vulcan is arguably the most famous and impressive of the RAF's 3 V bombers and was developed primarily for the role of a strategic nuclear bomber. Driven by 4 Bristol Olympus jet engines, the Vulcan had an incomparable appearance due to the delta wing design and its size. After being taken out of service in 1985, the XH558 “Spirit of Great Britain” continued to be flown at air shows until it finally retired in 2015 due to excessive costs.
