The F-4 Phantom II:

The F-4 Phantom is probably one of the best known and most widespread fighter jets in the world. Developed by McDonnell Douglas for the USAF as an air superiority fighter, a whopping 5,195 machines were built in many different versions between 1958 and 1981.
