The Eurofighter Typhoon is a multi-role fighter aircraft developed by Great Britain, Germany, Spain and Italy. Development began in 1982, but due to delays, the first flight did not take place until 1994. It wasn't until 1997 that the Eurofighter Typhoon got its current name and it wasn't until 2003 that the first series machines were produced. At the beginning of the development, the Eurofighter was supposed to be a highly agile air superiority fighter, but was converted to a multi-purpose fighter after commissioning. 571 machines have been built since 2003.
